How we use AI,
and where we draw lines

What our AI does

Your atlas is a personalised book written with AI, made for reflection and enjoyment. A large part of its prose is generated by AI. The book also draws on a library of reusable passages that we drafted with AI and then checked against research sources on each tradition. Checking against sources does not show that palmistry, astrology or iris reading can determine your personality, your health or your future. Software calculates the astronomical positions from the birth details you give us, while AI and image-processing tools interpret your photographs and compose the text, and those tools can make mistakes. We approved the reference library before locking it, but at present nobody reads each finished book before it is printed. Every book goes through automated checks and you may be asked to confirm some of what we found, though neither step catches everything. Where we make guide videos, they are AI-generated performances of the same kind of writing.

What it will never claim

Your reading is offered for reflection and enjoyment. It isn't medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it isn't a diagnosis, a treatment, a prediction of events or a scientific assessment. We will never present it as any of those. Palmistry and astrology are historical practices of reflection and that is how we present them. Your book also combines your details with reusable text, artwork and design, so not every passage or illustration in it was made from scratch for you.

The photographs on this site

The books and prints in our pictures are real: those are pages we printed, that cover, that artwork, those plates. The rooms and the people holding them are made with AI. Nobody in a film on this site is a customer, none of it is a review or a recommendation, and we don't claim otherwise. We use them because we would rather show you the size and weight of the thing than describe it. Where a picture shows a finished book or print, what is inside the frame or on the page is the file that goes to the printer.

Our guides, and cultural respect

Our video guides are interpretive personas inspired by wisdom traditions. They are not real teachers and they do not represent any people. Each one is grounded in published scholarship, carries no sacred or closed knowledge, and is reviewed against these standards before release. There are traditions we will not portray without genuine consultation with the community concerned, so those guides don't exist yet.

Reading someone who isn't in the room

Atlas of Them works under one rule: everything in it should help you relate to a person well, and nothing in it should profile them. It makes no predictions about them and has no content about money or intimacy. Our terms include an explicit clause against using it to vet anyone, and we never contact or track the person read. We hold every sketch to a plain test, which is that you should be comfortable showing it to the person it describes.

Reading for a newborn

The First Atlas reads the sky a child arrived under, never the child. We make no personality claims and no predictions about a baby, who is far too new to the world for either. The parents keep the book as a keepsake and a letter to the future. Who the child becomes is theirs alone.

Our services are for those 16 and over. If a reading ever touches something tender, remember that it is a book for reflection and cannot tell you your fate. For the things that matter most, turn to the people and professionals in your life.
